Held on the last weekend of July each year, Watchet Carnival is one of only a few daylight carnival procession left in the area.
Entertainment starts at midday on The Esplanade, followed by the Carnival Parade at 1pm, where many entries from groups, clubs, pubs and individuals take to the streets in carnival style, working their way around the route and finishing at the Carnival Fete held on the Memorial Ground.
This includes numerous stalls, inflatable’s, food vendors, carnival bar and an arena display that take place between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Watchet Music Festival:-
Watchet Music Festival is the largest outdoor music event, held on the August Bank Holiday weekend, from Friday to Sunday.
A family friendly event "bringing the festival experience to the area", with a wide range of international, up and coming and weird and wacky acts, offering many music genres - performing on three stages, you are sure to find an act you have never seen before.
Along with a food court, festival markets, real ale and cider bar, free kids “hands on” activities, this 3 day festival has been nominated in the UK festival awards 5 years running.
